Al Carrer & Cybercafé® Lisbon Launch: Nike SB Dunk Low 'Nicole Hause'
Last week, alongside our friends from Barcelona’s Al Carrer, we had the honor of hosting the global launch event for the new Nike SB Dunk by American pro skater Nicole Hause.
The day kicked off at Angelina DIY. For those unfamiliar, it’s a spot that’s been alive and kicking for the past two years, with DIY builds, skate sessions, (and occasionally some BBQ). Before that, it wasn’t much—just a forgotten patch of old asphalt that no one touched. But thanks to our local community, and the Barcelona crew, we managed to resurface the old ground (skaters here know it was a instant razor tail).
The session brought together Lisbon locals, friends from Barcelona, and the Nike SB team, skating together with a great sunset by the river. We’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
As night fell, the second part of the event moved to the shop, where the Nicole Hause Dunk officially dropped. Everyone and was greeted with great food and plenty of beer from Musa (shoutout for the support).
The third issue of our Lisbon neighbors, Betesga, a female-led and non-traditional skateboarding magazine was presented to the public for the first time. This edition features an interview with Nicole herself.
We also featured three local artists running a T-shirt customization workshop with sewing machine, screen printing, and stencils. The results were sharp—everyone who faced the long line to grab a shirt left happy. Check some of it below along with some moments from the night;
A big thank you to everyone who worked hard to make this event so special. And a big shoutout to everyone who showed up—it means the lot to us to bring nice stuff in Lisbon and create something meaningful for our community 🤍🩵.
